Big Spring Clean As part of the “Big Spring Clean” we have been doing some extra litter picking both in the school grounds and around the local community. It was lovely to see some of our families at the Woldingham Litter pick event on Saturday 14^th. A lot of litter was collected from the area and I was quite surprised by the amount. Eco-Council members went out on Thursday this week and cleared litter from two key areas by the school – from the top of Long Hill to the entrance to the Glebe tennis club. Again the children were surprised by the amount and type of litter they collected in such a small area. Lambs, have been learning about how to care for the environment so they also spent some time on Thursday collecting litter within the school grounds. Let’s all think hard about where we put our litter, so we protect the environment from the harm litter does. Keep Britain Tidy!
