During the month of June the children from each year group have participated in a number of workshops which are run by parents and friends of Woodlea School to show the children different careers and opportunities available to them in the wider world. Some of this years activities included:

Basketball, Dance, LAw, HR, Taekwondo, PT Training, Finance, Foernsic Investigation, Golf, Keeping Healthy, Publishing. Singing, AI, Podcasting, Travel, DNA workshop and Advertising

We wanted to express our thanks to all the volunteers and especially Mrs Irvine for organising this year’s WOW Woodlea sessions.  Without such dedication from the volunteers and all the hard work of organising WOW would not happen. The children thoroughly enjoy the sessions, and we are so grateful for the experience this provides for the children.
