Young Voices

Year 5 and 6 children were lucky enough to take part in Young Voices at the O2. This is an event which brings together thousands of primary school children to sing together in a concert. On Monday night there were over 7000 pupils, but the event runs over several weeks involving the same number each night. It is a long day as the children rehearse from 2pm to 5pm and then perform later in the evening, but it is a fantastic experience and the majority of the children who attended from Woodlea embraced the experience fully which made us very proud. I know many of the parents who were able to attend the concert really enjoyed it. A big thank you to all the teaching staff who took the children. Returning home was as adventure for many of us, but to listen to live performers and be present in an arena full of young voices was a privilege.
